I was away in Italy for the last 5 weeks. I just received the notice that Dr. Scerbo had passed away. I enjoyed talking with the Doc. about many things especially the possible connection with my family from Marcellinara CZ Calabria. My condolences to his wife, family and friends. Requiem eterna dona eo Domine,et lux pepetua luceat eo.

Dear Scerbo family, We are stunned to hear about Joe's death. He has been our podiatrist for years. We always love to hear about your family. We will miss his witt, intelligence and most of all his dedication to you boys whom he loved and admired above all else-his family was his inspiration and joy. May God be with you and comfort you.

I'm shocked and very sad to learn of Joe's untimely passing. I know what a terrific father he was to his boys, and how proud he was in supporting their participation in wrestling, which was also Joe's passion. My deepest sympathy to his wife, Christine, and the boys. Sincerely, Bill Pappas

I am a chiropractor on Easton Avenue and a friend of Sister Annette's. For the past 20 years, Joe would walk to my strip mall several times per week and we would chat. He was kind enough to offer me use of his office during the recent flood. I was so touched by his unsolicited generosity. My oldest is the same age as his son Thomas and we would share stories about our kids. He was a very devoted father. I am shocked and saddened . My thoughts and heart are with the family during this challenging time. Sincerely, Catherine Colaizzo
